Romécourt Holiday Cottages: your questions, our answers
A stay in the heart of nature
Praised by our guests: 4.7/5 on Google (86 reviews), 9.6/10 on Booking, 4.84/5 on Airbnb and 5/5 on Gîtes de France.
“An oasis of calm”: that is how one guest summed up their stay. Our guests come from France, Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium.
Why choose Romécourt?
To sleep in a brick fortified farmhouse dating from 1564, a listed historic monument, in the middle of 300 hectares of forest and fields. We are in the heart of the Lorraine Regional Nature Park and the South Moselle Biosphere Reserve. The peace and quiet are total, the comfort modern.
They talk first about the silence, the garden and the tranquillity, then the comfortable beds, the well-equipped kitchen and our welcome. Some describe a place “out of time”.
A 16th-century fortified farmhouse, authentic and rare in Lorraine, rather than a palace. After two nights, our guests mostly remember its charm and peace.
Bed linen, towels, heating, water, electricity and Wi-Fi are included. You also enjoy the large park and the courtyard. Only the cleaning fee (€70) and the tourist tax (€2.53 per adult per night) are extra.
You deal directly with us: we live on the estate and know the region well. We speak English and German.
